fouroaks children centreWe would love to hear your thoughts on our new website, and Four Oaks Children's Centre services, so please get in touch!

What is a Children's Centre?

Children's Centres focus on pregnancy, children under the age of five and their families. Four Oaks Children's Centre does not have a dedicated building, so our services are accessed by families at various venues in the community, and we also do home visits and new birth visits.

Children's Centres can provide information and support relating to many areas such as:

• Early education
fouroaks children centre Childcare, including the new 2 year old places
• Health
• Family support
• Training and employment services
• Parenting skills
• Child health and development
• Access to financial support & advice
• Activities to improve young children's educational attainment
• Working with parents to help keep children safe

Sutton Locality Children's Centres

From 2012 Children's Centre's have been grouped into 16 localities, where Centre's will work together and share budgets to provide services across a wider area.

The five Centre's in Sutton Locality are:

Bush Babies Children's Centre
Deanery Children's Centre
Holland House Children's Centre
New Hall Children's Centre

Opening times and services provided will differ at each Centre. However, the good news is that families can now access services in all Children's Centre's in their Locality and not just the nearest to where they live. Staff will be able to work across the whole locality, and parents can be involved in shaping services at individual Centre's as well as across the Locality.
